“My first SomaVeda Thai Yoga treatment was in April 2017 and since then, I’ve had a number of treatments, the 7-Day Protocol and attended a Level 1 Workshop. The first treatment gave me what I needed for stress reduction and left me feeling awesome, smiling and energized. My need to relieve a good amount of job stress and anxiety led me to take the 7-Day Protocol. Recently I hurt my knee as I’m into many different activities such as yoga, dance, bicycling, hiking, and something that I was doing caused me to develop pretty bad knee and leg pain. Dr. Maureen and I talked and decided that I would come in before seeking tradition (ie, MD) health care. After only two treatments, in which she isolated the practice to my legs I am feeling almost normal and am back to yoga and hiking.
Dr. Maureen is knowledgable in the SomaVeda Thai Yoga, Reiki, EFT, Massage Therapy and all together produces a very effective treatment. She takes the time to find out who you are and treats you as a whole person. The EFT (tapping) sessions proved to be helpful in releasing emotions and it is something that I am able to do at home when needed.
